╌╌ Valhalla. A world beyond time, even beyond life itself. The souls of the departed pass the divide and find their way into the unseen chaos for one day they will rise from the ashes. It was a place she had recognized well in her deepest dreams. And Lightning was somewhere in there. Or it was something that looked like it.
Serah had met the cold floor upon arriving and realized that she must of been knocked unconscious traveling through the lanes of the Historia Crux. She also noticed that her company wasn’t next to her either as she rose up and searched around, it felt rather odd without her usual traveling friends beside her and being alone in the realm made Serah all the more worried of what happened to them. “Where…am I?” She speaks softly but there is no one to reply, upon that she simply sighs and lowers her head forward. “I hope they haven’t gone to far.” The murmur was left with the silence.
She was very aware of the possibility of her sister residing in a place like this, even if it seemed more distorted than the visions she’d seen, but Serah knew she couldn’t be too hopeful for it could be just another wind in the road of her long adventure. And what waited fer her at the end? That was something only she could find out for herself. It was quite a travel to the top though, even for a constant void she was almost breathless climbing up. Still there was no sign of Noel or Mog anywhere, even so Serah continued onward through the columns; and froze all together.
Callous and intimidating he was, to other people’s perspective, but with a strong desire to protect she could understand what it felt like to fight for someone they cared about. The purple were unmistakeable. Serah gasped when she locked her eyes onto him, uttering his his name in shock. “Caius?!” She retracts her hand to cover what she had spoken aloud, stepping a few steps back to not disturb such a strong guardian like him but a part of her wanted to remain still. A part of Serah wanted to understand his strong will to protect Yeul whilst being a big drive against Serah and Noel from fixing the paradoxes. Someone so mysterious, if she at least listen to his cause a new light could be shone overhead.
